Uphold the law or look the other way, but your decisions will determine your pay, and maybe the fate of the kingdom.No two citizens are alike, and you’ll need to choose the right set of tools to verify their story. Your halberd will sort out whether those cabbages are the only thing in the farmer’s cart. A plague mask can help you spot the ill. And maybe a sprinkling of holy water on the mysterious coffin is good practice, even if the grieving widow promises there’s nothing wrong with it. You’ll have to buy your gear from your own wages, but soon no one will get past you…at least not without a decent bribe.
