But everything short of that is still on the table.Nothing that happens to him is decided in advance. He tries to stay standing and awake, bleeds when you give him a reason to, and mostly loses. When you've seen enough, you can patch him up and start again. He probably doesn't mind.There are other things scattered around The Granule: some that explode, stab, sever, and mend, and some far older, far more powerful, that answer to nobody but you.
