Then tasked to create a parallel version of the game specifically for the Neo Geo. This was a common practice in the 90's when multiple studios were tasked with creating similar but different games for platforms they were subject matter experts of.We have designed Gley Lancer: Overdrive by channeling that exact spirit. Gley Lancer: Overdrive pays homage to the Mega Drive original while adding some Neo Geo flavor to its stages, presentation, soundFX, soundtrack, mechanics and cinematics and more.
